2 mL Screw Top Vials & Screw Caps

Agilent’s 2 mL screw top vials are constructed from Type 1 borosilicate glass, with low metal content, to protect your sample from destabilizing or leaching. Our 2 mL glass vials are available in both amber and clear versions. The associated 9 mm vial screw cap comes with your choice of septa constructed from either PTFE/silicone, PTFE/silicone/PTFE or PTFE/natural red rubber.

Our screw vials and vial screw caps are designed for both HPLC and GC instrument platforms across a wide variety of applications, including pharmaceutical, environmental, energy and fuels, forensics, materials science, biopharmaceutical, proteomics, and metabolomics. The 2 mL screw top vial is recommended for sample matrix that is not too volatile. Our short thread design of our 9 mm screw cap makes for a quicker application and removal of cap increasing throughput when it matters.
