pH-indicator paper Litmus paper red

MQuant^® Litmus paper red is suitable to monitor a pH change from acidic to alkalinic. The paper changes its color from red (below 4.5) to blue (above pH 8.3). Litmus is a natural product; it is the oldest form of pH indicator absorbed on paper. This is why litmus paper is still broadly used as a synonyme for other pH papers, eventhough these are impregnated with other, mostly synthetic, indicator dyes. pH indicator papers supplied in rolls are better suited for longterm storage, since they are protected against external influences.
